The video was shot in San Francisco and Los Angeles, directed by Colin Tilley and The Little Homies.
The song was written by Kendrick Lamar Duckworth, Pharrell Williams & Mark Spears.
Production was handled by Pharrell Williams & Sounwave.
To Pimp a Butterfly is the third studio album by Kendrick Lamar. It was released on March 15, 2015, by Top Dawg Entertainment and Aftermath Entertainment, and distributed by Interscope Records.
The album is a follow-up to Lamar’s platinum selling, multi-Grammy Award nominated, critically acclaimed major-label debut, Good Kid, M.A.A.D City (2012).
