It is a sequel to the 2015 film Jurassic World, and the fifth installment in the Jurassic Park film series.
Filming began at Langley Business Centre in Slough, England, on February 23, 2017 and filming at the primary filming location in Hawaii began on June 13.
Filming on the sequel is currently underway at Kualoa Ranch on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. It is also scheduled to take place at Heʻeia Kea Small Boat Harbor in Heʻeia, Hawaii in late June 2017.
The film will be directed by J. A. Bayona, with a script written by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly.
Production handled by Frank Marshall, Patrick Crowley, and Belén Atienza.
Trevorrow and Steven Spielberg serve as executive producers.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is scheduled to be released in the United Kingdom on June 7, 2018, with a wider release on June 22, 2018.
