The American actor, film producer, and musician, Jeremy Renner has been discussing about the future of Hawkeye in Marvel’s upcoming movies.
It was previously rumored that Hawkeye/Clint Barton would follow the footsteps of Black Widow by playing a supporting role in Captain America 3 and in a recent interview he confirms his role.
“I’m happy to be the ensemble. I’m not scratching or clawing to do a solo movie by any means, he told MTV
I think he’s a utility guy that can bounce around into other people’s universes a little bit, especially like ‘Cap 3.'”
There you have it.. He’s finally making a appearance in Captain America 3, which is set to hit theaters in May 6, 2016.
Anthony and Joe Russo will return to direct the third installment, with Chris Evans returning as Captain America, Kevin Feige producing, and Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely returning to write the screenplay.
In the meantime, we will see him in Avengers: Age Of Ultron which hits theaters on April 24 (UK) & Ireland, May 1, 2015 in US.
