Rockstar confirmed the release date for their open world, action-adventure game, Grand Theft Auto V with a brand new trailer.

The trailer captured on PS4 gives us a glimpse at the game’s improvements over last-gen version, get it after the break:

UPDATE Rockstar explains the game was delayed for PC:

“We’re glad to see so many of you are excited for the upcoming release of the new versions of GTAV and we look forward to sharing more details with you soon.

We are also incredibly excited to be bringing GTAV to the PC, but the game requires a little more development time in order to ensure that it is as amazing and polished as possible. Please do stay tuned as we reveal new features and information about all the new versions in the weeks ahead.”

GTA V for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC will feature a range of “major visual and technical upgrades to make Los Santos and Blaine County more immersive than ever”, including increased draw distances and higher resolution. Additionally, players can expect a range of additions and improvements including:

  • New weapons, vehicles and activities
  • Additional wildlife
  • Denser traffic
  • New foliage system
  • Enhanced damage and weather effects, and much more

The game will also feature enhanced radio selections with over 100 new songs and DJ mixes across the 17 radio stations. Players who pre-order the game will receive $1,000,000 in-game cash to spend across GTA V singple player and GTA Online.

Existing players (Xbox 360 & PS3) will be able to transfer their current GTA Online progress to their choice of platform (PS4, Xbox One or PC).

For players returning from old-gen (Xbox 360 & PS3) to current-gen (PS4, Xbox One, PC) will receive a host of new and exclusive content, “including rare versions of classic vehicles to collect from across the Grand Theft Auto series such as the Dukes, the Dodo Seaplane and a faster, more maneuverable Blimp; activities, including wildlife photography; and new shooting range challenges, new weapons and more.”

GTA Online will be upgraded with an increased player count of 30 on PS4 and Xbox One. All existing gameplay upgrades and Rockstar-created content made since launch will be included from day one.

Grand Theft Auto V will launch on November 18, 2014 for PS4 and Xbox one. The PC version will arrive several months later on January 27, 2015.
