American writer, filmmaker, actor, musician and cartoonist, James Gunn is currently busy with Marvel’s upcoming American superhero film, Guardians of the Galaxy and in a recent interview he talks about the future of the movie.
Marvel Studios is already plotting the cinematic map until 2028, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Guardians Of The Galaxy would be connected to the The Avengers 3.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, James Gunn states: “We’re definitely connected to Avengers 3.” He also teases that the villain Thanos, is “the head of the snake”, so now we have to wait to find out.
The film is based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name, it features an ensemble cast including Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, and Benicio del Toro.
American actress Zoe Saldana, who plays as Gamora, the adopted daughter of Thanos and an associate of Ronan, Nebula, and Korath. She also sat with EW for an interview, she says Guardians of the Galaxy team aren’t 100% heroes.
“We’re the Sex Pistols. We’re the renegades. We’ll come in drunk, we’ll save the day, but check your wallet — we might have taken it.”
Thanos, who appeared in the mid-credit scene during The Avengers (2012), though he is yet to be confirmed for GOTG movie. He might be the main villain in Avengers 3, what do you think? sound off in the comments below!
