Gamescom organisers denied the rumor that claimed Grand Theft Auto V, Table Tennis Tournament 2 and an unknown Valve project would showcase at Gamescom 2012.
A LinkedIn profile supposedly belonging to a project manager responsible for “the programming at Gamescom” that suggests titles from major publishers including Rockstar, Activision Blizzard, EA and Valve were listed for the show this year.
The details listed on Gerald Bauser, who claimed to be involved in organising the programming for gamescom 2012, but Gamescom organisers stated:
“He is not working for the official organisers of Gamescom (Koelnmesse and BIU)”.
His profile also listed Assassin’s Creed III, Crysis 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and “Guild Wars 3″ for PC and console.
Previously, Gamescom 2012 trailer featured some footage of GTA V. Take-Two is attending the event but Rockstar has made no official announcement and gamescom organisers have neither confirmed nor denied GTA V’s appearance at the show.
