Microsoft showed off a new trailer of Forza Horizon at their E3 press conference.

Forza Horizon combines the Forza authenticity based around racing festivals, where contestants will compete in what appear to be cross-country races. You’ll see divergent paths, nighttime racing, plenty of damage (including roll-overs), and the freedom of the open road, to bring a high-intensity, action-racing game set against the backdrop of the world’s most unique motorsport party.

Take a look at the trailer below:

Forza Horizon made in collaboration between Turn 10 and UK studio Playground Studios as an open-world racer akin to Test Drive Unlimited with a music festival tone.

Forza Horizon will feature a voice-controled Kinect GPS system. The Kinect GPS system will allow players to find specific locations like the game’s Horizon Festival, as well as nearby races and events.

“We received two recurring feedback points while we were looking at this game,” explained Playground Games’ design director Ralph Fulton.

“The first one is really simple, people said ‘This world so big, I found it really easy to get lost.’ The second is kind of related to that, people said ‘Sometimes I forget where I’m going, or what I want to do next.”

Forza Horizon is due for release on October 23 for Xbox 360.
