Warner Bros. Pictures’ upcoming DCEU’s film, Justice League wrapped in UK & has moved the production to Iceland to film the scenes for Aquaman’s hometown of Amnesty Bay.
And we get the first look at Amber Heard as Mera, queen of the sea and Aquaman’s wife from the Justice League set, check out the exclusive photo and concept art below!
Mera was created by Jack Miller and Nick Cardy, the character first appeared in Aquaman #11 (September 1963) as a queen of the sea.
She is the former Queen of Dimension Aqua (Xebel), Queen of Atlantis, and wife of Aquaman.
Justice League features an ensemble cast including Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, J. K. Simmons as James Gordon and Amber Heard as Mera.
Based on the DC Comics superhero team of the same name.
It is intended to be the fifth installment in the DC Extended Universe.
Directed by Zack Snyder, with a screenplay by Chris Terrio.
Justice League is scheduled to be released on November 17, 2017 in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D.
