Square Enix’s upcoming action role-playing game, Final Fantasy XV has been confirmed to support HDR on both PlayStation 4 Pro & Xbox One S.
Final Fantasy XV joins the growing list of titles to be added in line for High Dynamic Range (HDR) support.
Although Square Enix is yet to share any official details, but we did get confirmations from director Hajime Tabata that the game will indeed feature HDR support.
High Dynamic Range was introduced with Xbox One S and it is not available on Xbox One.
With HDR mode your TV can display deeper colors and richer contrast, meaning the picture will appear more vibrant and realistic than on a regular HDTV.
Only few titles on Xbox One S have adapted to HDR including Forza Horizon 3, Gears of War 4, and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
But Sony’s entire PlayStation 4 models received HDR through a firmware update, but FFXV is yet to support HDR on standard PS4 models.
Stay tuned for an official announcement from Sony or Square Enix on Final Fantasy XV HDR support on standard PS4 for Final Fantasy XV.
