Square Enix revealed that their upcoming action role-playing game, Final Fantasy XV will receive a number of enhancements on PlayStation 4 Pro.
During the latest Active Time Report, director Hajime Tabata revealed that an update will be deployed on launch day adding 4K and HDR support for PlayStation 4 Pro.
A second patch will be deployed with few more optimizations at a later date.
The game will receive the third patch for PS4 Pro in December which adds support for 1080p/60fps on HDTV’s.
Final Fantasy XV PS4 Pro version will feature two different modes: 4K resolution upscaled at 30 frames per second and 1080p at 60 frames per second.
The development team is currently working the PS4 Pro build, which roughly runs between 40-50 frames per second.
Additionally, Final Fantasy XV will receive two downloadable contents, Booster Pack and Holiday Pack for free. The Holiday Pack will decorate a certain city in a holiday theme, it is planned for Christmas release.
