EA’s FIFA 14 has successfully secured this year’s Christmas No.1 in the UK all formats video game charts knocking off Call of Duty: Ghosts.
This is EA’s 14th Christmas No.1 (8 of which have been FIFA) since 2008. FIFA is 17,000 units (18% increase in sales) ahead of Call of Duty: Ghosts.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag takes No.3 with 92% increase in sales week-on-week, thanks to heavy retailer promotions on Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. Battlefield 4 takes No.4 and Lego Marvel Super Heroes takes No.5.
