Canadian actress ‘Ellen Page’ isn’t happy about “The Last of Us” character ‘Ellie’, which resembles a lot like her.
Ellen page currently is working alongside Willem Dafoe in Quantic Dream’s upcoming psychological/spiritual/thriller video game Beyond: Two Souls.
Answering a Reddit AMA question “Have you seen any footage of ‘The Last of Us’ and would you have taken the role as Ellie if approached?”
Ellen Page responded, “I guess I should be flattered that they ripped off my likeness, but I am actually acting in a video game called Beyond Two Souls, so it was not appreciated.”
Ellie’s appearance did change over the course of development, and the final form looks less like “Ellen Page” and more like American actress “Ashley Johnson”.
Over at twitter, Ellen Page doesn’t seem to hold a grudge, she asked her follower to praise Johnson:
.@pspcarlos not me. Ashley Johnson played the part…so send her the props!! :) @TheVulcanSalute

She also answered some questions about Beyond Two Souls and if she plays video games:
“Making Beyond was an incredible experience. I think what David Cage is doing is really remarkable, the first of its kind and I feel grateful to be involved.”
“I played video games more when I was a kid. I had Sega Genesis and was a HUGE Sonic fan. I also love the NHL games and played them with my brother all time.
Then I was super into Playstation and loved the FIFA games. I recently played my first video game in a while. I played the latest Tomb Raider and really enjoyed it, finished in about 12 hours.”
The Last of Us is available in stores now, Beyond: Two Souls will release on October 8, 2013 for PS3.
