E3 2014 is over, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has announced a record attendance figure for E3 2014 and dated next year’s show.

“48,900 video game industry professionals, investor analysts, journalists, and retailers from more than 100 countries attended this week’s Electronic Entertainment Expo ( E3 ) in Los Angeles.

Approximately 200 exhibitors showcased the latest in computer and video game hardware and software, including the unveiling of the titles that will be the hottest computer and video games this holiday season and into 2015.

E3 attendees secured more than 28,000 total hotel room nights and generated nearly $40 million in revenue for the city.”

E3 2014 narrowly surpassed the previous record of 48,200 set last year.

E3 2015 will take place on June 16-18, 2015 in Los Angeles at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
