American comedienne, television host, actress Ellen DeGeneres finally got an answer from Robert Downey Jr. when countless others failed.

Downey made an appearance on American television talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where Ellen asked “Will there be a fourth Iron Man?”

He replied: “I know there’s going to be a bunch more Marvel movies. And they have big ideas of how to do it best and we’re in the middle of negotiation…”

Ellen quickly prompted, “So, yes?”, to which he said “Okay, yes!.”

Marvel Studios is yet to confirm Iron Man 4, but that will change soon.

Robert Downey Jr. took part in Reddit AMA today and clarified the notion of Mel Gibson directing Iron Man 4 as a joke and added “It was an offhanded remark to a journalist and friend.

I have other projects in mind for Mel and I – sooner than later the Marvel Roster will be made public and all questions will be answered.”

A fan asked Downey “Is shawarma any good, and how are Hulk’s table manners?” To that he said, “The Hulk is a slob. Bruce Banner’s etiquette is right out of the Tiffany Book of Table Manners.

He further went one to confirm that he discussed with Joss Whedon about topping Avengers post-credits scene in Avengers: Age of Ultron, “I remember shooting that shawarma post-credit scene, and having just finished Avengers: Age of Ultron, wondered how we’d beat it. Joss says “The way to win is to not try.”
