Bethesda Softworks announced an open multiplayer beta forDOOM, that runs from April 15 through April 18 across PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The beta is open for everyone, you won’t need a code to participate in multiplayer beta, all you need to do is login to your platform and download the beta. It features Team Deathmatch and Warpath modes on the Heatwave and Infernal maps.
“These maps and modes are just a fraction of what players will experience when the game launches”, DOOM will receive free content updates across SnapMap and multiplayer. SnapMap allows users to create and share modes and maps.
id Software’s free content updates via SnapMap will include “map modules; props and objects; additional features and functionality; AI enhancements; editing tool enhancements and more.”
In addition to free content updates, DOOM will receive three premium multiplayer add-ons. The first add-on will include:
- Three new maps
One new weapon
One new playable demon
One new armour set
One new piece of equipment
New hack modules and taunts
New customization colours and patterns
Each add-on will cost $14.99 /£11.99 / €14.99 or you can get them at a discount with Season Pass for $39.99 / £29.99 / €39.99.
DOOM will launch on May 13, 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
