Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures unveiled their upcoming war action drama film, Mulan teaser and poster.
The very first Mulan teaser is a live-action adaptation of Disney‘s 1998 animated film of the same name, itself based on the Chinese legend of Hua Mulan, check out the teaser after the jump:
Mulan Teaser
Mulan stars Yifei Liu as the eponymous character, alongside Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Gong Li, and Jet Li in supporting roles.
Synopsis:
“Mulan is the epic adventure of a fearless young woman who masquerades as a man in order to fight Northern Invaders attacking China.
The eldest daughter of an honored warrior, Hua Mulan is spirited, determined and quick on her feet.
When the Emperor issues a decree that one man per family must serve in the Imperial Army, she steps in to take the place of her ailing father as Hua Jun, becoming one of China’s greatest warriors ever.”
Directed by Niki Caro with the screenplay by Elizabeth Martin, Lauren Hynek, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver.

Principal photography on the live-action adaptation began on August 13, 2018, at different locations in New Zealand and China and wrapped on November 25, 2018.
Mulan is set to arrive in theaters on March 27, 2020.
