Fox has decided to move around the release dates of their upcoming superhero films, Deadpool 2, The New Mutants & Gambit.
Deadpool sequel release date has been moved up from June 1 to May 18 and The New Mutants will be pushed back from on April 13, 2018 to February 22, 2019, according to THR.
The new release date puts Deadpool 2 against Sony’s horror film, Slender Man.
Deadpool 2 features Ryan Reynolds leads the cast as Wade Wilson / Deadpool that includes Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Stefan Kapičić as the voice of Colossus, Zazie Beetz as Neena Thurman / Domino, Josh Brolin as Nathan Summers / Cable, and Jack Kesy as Black Tom Cassidy..
The New Mutants features Anya Taylor-Joy, Maisie Williams, Charlie Heaton, Henry Zaga, Blu Hunt, and Alice Braga.
Additionally, The long in-development movie, Gambit loses the director yet again, this is the third time the movie lost its director after Doug Liman and Rupert Wyatt, now Gore Verbinski departs from the project and the film’s release has been pushed from February 14, 2019 to June 7, 2019.
The upcoming X-Men: Dark Phoenix‘s release date remains unchanged, it will hit theaters on November 2, 2018.
