Bandai Namco released a new trailer for Dark Souls III introducing 3v3 PvP from the upcoming Ashes of Ariandel DLC.
“Mound-Makers, Farron Watchdogs, Blade of the Darkmoon, Sunbros… Have you chosen your allegiance in Dark Souls III? Will you help souls in distress, or betray your closest allies?
Ashes of Ariandel will improve on the acclaimed multiplayer mode of Dark Souls III, with a new PvP arena. Infuse your weapons, refill your Estus and prepare to roll. It’s time to fight, Ashen Ones.”
In Ashes of Ariandel DLC “players are tasked to enter this new world and defeat the evil within and uncover the mystery of what has caused the land to become defiled.
In addition to adding a new environment to the game, the expansion will also include new weapons, armor sets, and magic for players to discover and experiment with, as well as new features for the game’s wildly popular competitive multiplayer mode.”
Dark Souls III: Ashes of Ariandel will be available for download for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, on October 25, 2016 for a MSRP of $14.99.
The season pass for Dark Souls III which includes Dark Souls III: Ashes of Ariandel and a second expansion, expected to be released in early 2017, is available for purchase for $24.99.
