Crysis 3 is one of the most awaited and highly anticipated game of 2013. It was no secret that another Crysis game was in the works, considering how Crysis 2 ended.
Crytek started to speak out about the development of the game. According to Crytek‘s CEO Cevat Yerli the upcoming sci-fi shooter will push both Xbox 360 and PS3 to its limits.
The original Crysis on PC was ahead of its time. Again, Crytek is looking to do the same with Crysis 3.
On Twitter, a fan asked Yerli, “Hope consoles don’t hold you guys back again! 2005 tech. Unbelievable what you’ve managed but it may not be enough this time!”
To this, Yerli replied, “Crysis 3 will push the 360, PS3 to its limits, ahead of Crysis 2, but Crysis 3 PC will be clearly ahead!”
Yerli also commented on Crysis 3 in the company’s reveal of the title earlier this week:
“Crysis 3 is a thrilling mix of sandbox gameplay, advanced combat and hi-tech human and alien weaponry that shooter fans will love,” said Yerli, Chief Executive Officer of Crytek. “Leveraging the latest CryENGINE technology, we’re able to deliver seven unique themes that offer stunning and visually loaded gameplay experiences. We cannot wait until people get their hands on the game.”
