Cobie Smulders made her debut in Marvel Cinematic Universe with The Avengers (2012) as Maria Hill, an agent with S.H.I.E.L.D. who works closely with Jackson’s Nick Fury.
Cobie Smulders will appear once again as Maria Hill in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, as well as the TV series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as a part of a nine-film commitment as the character and she now confirms that she’ll appear in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Speaking with Calgary Herald at a Beverly Hills hotel promoting the comedy-drama Delivery Man, She said, “I think I’m in Avengers 2, but it is very top secret.
I hope I’m in Avengers 2. I didn’t get my invitation yet. Well, actually, they know I’m in it but they don’t know to what degree I’m in it.”
She adds, “I am really excited to read the script because they are introducing Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch into the Avengers universe and the bad guy is going to be very interesting.”
It features an ensemble cast that includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and James Spader.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is scheduled for release on May 1, 2015.
