“Turn Up the Music” is a song by American recording artist Chris Brown, from his upcoming fifth studio album Fortune (2012), written and produced by Harvey Mason, Jr. and Damon Thomas of The Underdogs, and Fuego.
The song was released digitally on February 10, 2012, as the lead single from the album. “Turn Up the Music” is an electronic dance, house and dance-pop song, which consists of house-inspired beats andsynthesizers. The inspiration for the song came from Brown’s moves on the dance floor.

Godfrey Taberez, who co-directed the video along with Brown, explained that they had a very specific motive in mind when conceptualizing the video.
“We wanted to make sure that when people watch this they feel that they’re in the video. We wanted to give it personality, we wanted to make it fun, we wanted everyone to see this and wish they were there.”
The single is out now and Chris’ fifth studio record will be released in March.
