Ever Marvel fan is excited that Spider-Man is finally joining the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and Spidey will begin with an appearance in Captain America: Civil War, before getting his standalone film.
Tom Holland, the actor who will portray Spider-Man in Marvel Cinematic Universe, did a interview with Telegraph during his In the Heart of the Sea promotional tour and talks about his role in Civil War and more.
“Captain America: Civil War will be a brilliant movie, a huge movie and I’ll have the support of the success of that movie so that I can go on to my own.
It was also a real eye-opener to what it will be like when I start my film. I think the problem with Civil War for me was that it made me 10 times more excited to start on Spider-Man, but we don’t start for months so I’ve got to sit on that excitement for the moment.”
Directed by Jon Watts, The untitled Spider-Man reboot stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker and Marisa Tomei as Aunt May. It is scheduled to open in theaters on July 28, 2017.
Spider-Man‘s first appearance alongside Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in Captain America: Civil War will hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
