Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures & Marvel Studios‘ upcoming American superhero film, Captain America: Civil War wrapped principal photography.
The film’s principal photography began in April 2015 in Metro Atlanta, then moved to Puerto Rico, Iceland & concluded production in Germany.

Captain America: Civil War was the first film to use IMAX’s digital 2D cameras, made in partnership with Arri.
The film is intended to be the sequel to 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger and 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and the thirteenth installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, with a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely.
It features an ensemble cast that includes Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Emily VanCamp, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Frank Grillo, Tom Holland, William Hurt, Daniel Brühl & Martin Freeman.
Synopsis:
“Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity.
After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team.
The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.”
Captain America: Civil War is scheduled to be released on May 6, 2016.
