Obsidian Entertainment recently cancelled title was apparently in development for Xbox 720.
According to Kotaku sources “familiar with the project”, the Fallout: New Vegas maker’s ill-fated title was codenamed ‘North Carolina’ and had been due to be published by the platform holder.
After seven months of development, the Obsidian’s project was cancelled by Microsoft, with 30 staff released by the developer as a result.
One source revealed that Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart choked up while addressing the company during a meeting during which he delivered the bad news.
Previous month, Xbox World magazine claimed Microsoft will offer a Wii U-like touchscreen controller with its next console.
