UK Retailer Tesco accidentally outed Infinity Ward’s unannounced first-person shooter video game, Call of Duty: Ghosts.

According to the listing, the game is being developed by Infinity Ward. It will be released in December, according to the placeholder. Also Target pre-order advert has appeared with a November 5 release date – which is more credible.

Call of Duty: Ghosts Outed By Tesco 1

According to previous rumors, Call of Duty: Ghosts branches could be “branching out of the Modern Warfare series” and “moving into a different direction.” It will be revealed on or around May 1.

It will be set in the future similar to Call of DutyBlack Ops 2, but with current generation weapons, check out box art here, as Tesco has pulled it from its site.

Activision is yet to officially announce this year’s Call of Duty title, but we can expect an announcement at E3 2013.
