Ubisoft Motion Pictures and New Regency hired British writer Michael Lesslie to adapt Assassin’s Creed franchise to the big screen.
Lesslie is best known for the play ‘Prince of Denmark’, performed at the National Theater in 2012 and he has also penned a number of short films including Skirt and Heavy Metal Drummer, directed by Amanda Boyle. This will be Lesslie’s first big hollywood project.
Assassin’s Creed Movie is a collaborative effort between studio New Regency and Ubisoft Motion Pictures. It star Michael Fassbender in the lead role, who is co-producing with Conor McCaughan.
The two companies are currently looking for a director and more producers to take on Assassin’s Creed Movie.
