Following months of speculation and leaks, Activision today officially announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and launched the game’s official website ahead of today’s full reveal at the US NBA Playoffs tonight.

There’s a “Worldwide Reveal” trailer on the site, although it is currently unwatchable, suggesting the site may not have been ready to go live just yet.

The game’s pre-order information reveals that it’s set in a near-future, 21st century Cold War, where technology and weapons have converged to create a new generation of warfare.
