Icon Film Distribution revealed the first international trailer for Blood Father, an upcoming American-French action thriller film.
Starring Mel Gibson as John Link, an American ex-con.
Storyline:
“An ex-con reunites with his estranged wayward 16-year old daughter to protect her from drug dealers who are trying to kill her.”
The film also stars Erin Moriarty, Elisabeth Röhm, William H. Macy, Thomas Mann, Diego Luna and Michael Parks.
Directed by Jean-François Richet and written by Peter Craig.
Blood Father opens in Australia on August 25, 2016 and in other territories through Lionsgate later this year.
