Marvel Studios‘ upcoming American superhero film, Black Panther principal photography has begun at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Georgia.

The film stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa, ruler of Wakanda, Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger, Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Danai Gurira as Okoye., Forest Whitaker as Zuri, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Angela Bassett as Ramonda: T’Challa’s mother, and Sterling K. Brown as N’Jobu: A figure from T’Challa’s past.

Additionally, Andy Serkis, Martin Freeman and John Kani reprise their roles as Ulysses Klaue, Everett K. Ross and T’Chaka respectively from previous MCU films

Letitia Wright, Phylicia Rashad, and Atandwa Kani have been cast in undisclosed roles.

Plot:
“Following the events of Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther teams up with the CIA and the Dora Milaje, Wakanda’s special forces, to stop two enemies from challenging his leadership.

It is intended to be the eighteenth film installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Directed by Ryan Coogler from a screenplay by himself and Joe Robert Cole.

Produced by Kevin Feige.

Black Panther is scheduled to be released in the United States on February 16, 2018.
