Marvel Studios distributed a brand-new Black Panther poster at their San Diego Comic Con Hall H panel.
The Black Panther Comic Con poster reveals that the king of Wakanda’s suit will feature glowing stripes that matches the accent from the suit in Captain America: Civil War.
Black Panther’s suit is made of vibranium, a unique metal that can absorb, deflect and redistribute the energy.
In comics, Black Panther’s suit during combat absorbs kinetic energy from the attacker and the accent stripes glow to signal that the power can be used in a counter attack against the enemy.
The film features Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa, ruler of Wakanda, Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger, Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Forest Whitaker as Zuri, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett as Ramonda: T’Challa’s mother, Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross, Andy Serkis.
Synopsis:
“Black Panther follows T’Challa who, after the events of Captain America: Civil War, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King.
However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T’Challa’s mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.”
Directed by Ryan Coogler from a screenplay he co-wrote with Joe Robert Cole.
Produced by Kevin Feige with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nate Moore, Jeffrey Chernov and Stan Lee serving as executive producers.
