Activision released a patch for Black Ops 2 PS3 System Lock-Up/freezing Issue.
“A patch has been released to fix the lock-up/freeze issues affecting Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 online gameplay on PlayStation 3. However, we are aware that some customers are still experiencing PS3 lock-ups after installing the patch and we are doing everything we can to get to the bottom of it as quickly as possible,” read an update on the issue by Activision.
Activision added. “Our entire team… will continue to work tirelessly to get this issue resolved and get you back in the game.”
The update will install automatically when you sign in and load up Black Ops 2.
These issues include but are not limited to:
- Entering a public multiplayer lobby and observing a system lock-up
- Entering a public multiplayer lobby and receiving the error, “An error occurred while trying to find a session, please try again”
