Ben Affleck To Direct & Star In Batman Movie 1

Affleck will start working on Batman movie after he completes his long delayed film adaptation of the Dennis Lehane novel Live By Night, which hits theaters October 7, 2016.

According to Deadline’s source: Ben Affleck and Johns are “in sync and have more than found their rhythm”, they might finish scripting the Batman movie before the end of the summer.

The Batman movie isn’t official yet and doesn’t have a slot in DC Movie Universe, but if they announce it they might push some movies to make way for Batman movie.

Zack Snyder will begin the production of Justice League Part One in 2016 for a November 2017 release and Patty Jenkins will also begin the production for Wonder Woman in 2016 for a June 23, 2017 release. So we are hoping that Batman movie will be a target for 2018 or 2019 release.

For now director Zack Snyder’s next Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, written by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer – opens in theaters on March 25, 2016, in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D.

The cast includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter and Gal Gadot.
