Bleecker Street debuted the political thriller, Beirut trailer featuring Jon Hamm.
In the trailer, Jon Hamm as Mason Skiles, a former U.S. diplomat returns to service to save a former colleague along with Rosamund Pike as a CIA field agent, watch it in the player below!

The film has been criticized for exploiting negative stereotypes of Arabs, misrepresenting Lebanese history, and cast white-washing. The political thriller was shot in Morocco and does not have any Lebanese actors.
The cast also features Dean Norris, Shea Whigham, Larry Pine and Mark Pellegrino.
Storyline:
“Caught in the crossfire of civil war, CIA operatives (Rosamund Pike) send a former U.S. diplomat (Jon Hamm) to negotiate for the life of a friend he left behind.”

Beirut will premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and it will be followed up with a theatrical release on April 13, 2018.
