EA, Sony and Happy Madison productions have teamed up for a television adaptation of EA’s popular video game franchise “Battlefield: Bad Company.”
According to Deadline Hollywood, The ‘action comedy’ TV series based is in production at Fox.
The hour-long show, titled ‘Bad Company’, will tell the tale of the game’s four happy-go-lucky leads Marlowe, Sweetwater, Haggard and Redford as they “exit military life and enter the private sector.”
The show is being helmed by Alias producer John Eisendrath, alongside help from novelist Patrick O’Brien and DICE’s Patrick Bach.
According to the report, “Trouble is never far behind as they realize their commanding officer had used them to further the ends of a shadow unit within the government and now wants them dead to cover his tracks.”
