Looks like Chris Evans (Captain America) won’t be involved in the reshoots.

You should keep in mind that the reshoots are just a standard way to add extra scenes, it doesn’t mean the film is in trouble.

Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron features 12 VFX vendors from 6-7 countries working on over 3,000 visual effects shots.

Additionally, Marvel’s two-part sequel Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1 and Part 2 will shoot back-to-back at Pinewood Studios in London, which doesn’t come as a surprise since Part 1 is scheduled for May 4, 2018 with Part 2 scheduled for May 3, 2019.

According to rumors, Russo Brothers (Joe and Anthony Russo) might take over the Avengers franchise from Whedon after wrapping up Captain America: Civil War.
