New Regency & Ubisoft Motion Pictures’ upcoming action-adventure film, Assassin’s Creed Movie has wrapped the Principal photography.
“It is my honor to announce that Assassin’s Creed Movie last shot was taken minutes ago! Congratulations guys!!!” Assassin’s Creed’s Head of Content, Azaïzia Aymar tweeted with the photo below:
Principal photography began on August 31, 2015, with filming taking place in Malta, London, & Spain, with Adam Arkapaw serving as cinematographer, & Andy Nicholson as production designer.
After over more than four months of production, the film will now head on to post-production and then promotion for the film kicks off, which will give us few sneak peeks, trailers and photos from the film.
20th Century Fox & Ubisoft will release the first trailer on March 25, 2016.
It stars Michael Fassbender, Marion Cotillard, Michael K. Williams, Ariane Labed, Jeremy Irons, Brian Gleeson and Brendan Gleeson.
Directed by Justin Kurzel, screenplay by Bill Collage, Adam Cooper, Scott Frank, and Michael Lesslie.
Production is handled by Fassbender & Conor McCaughan.
Synopsis:
“Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain.
Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.”
Assassin’s Creed Movie is slated to hit theaters worldwide on December 21, 2016.
