We’ve seen a long line of cool black and white Arkham City character art to date but Two-Face definitely takes the top spot.

Batman Arkham City : Two Face Revealed 1

The latest reveal from the sequel to 2009′s game of the year Batman: Arkham Asylum is this lovely picture of our antagonist Harvey Dent, AKA Two Face. As-well as the picture DC have released a small bio which, any die hard fan will see, conforms more with the Harvey Dent of the comics and 90′s animated series than that of the Nolan films, but please don’t take that as a criticism of Nolan’s work.

Background Story: District Attorney Harvey Dent was one of Batman’s strongest allies in Gotham City, until a criminal threw acid in Dent’s face, hideously scarring him. The wounds fractured his psyche, and he was reborn Two-Face, a schizoid criminal mastermind  obsessed with duality. His former good-luck charm, a “two-headed” trick silver dollar, was damaged on one side in the attack, and Dent has seized on it as a reflection of his half-scarred visage. He flips it to decide the fates of his victims. Two-Face is thriving in Arkham City, rallying inmates to join his gang using tried and true campaign tactics.

In the game, Two Face is said to be assembling an army of thugs and thieves using campaign tactics he learnt as Gotham City district attorney Harvey Dent, Dent took on his Two Face persona after a criminal threw a tub of acid over him, destroying half his face.

Batman: Arkham City builds upon the intense, atmospheric foundation of Batman: Arkham Asylum, sending players soaring into Arkham City – five times larger than the game world in Batman: Arkham Asylum – and the new maximum security “home” for all of Gotham City’s thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds.

Batman: Arkham City (PC, Xbox 360, and PS3) will release on October 18, 2011 in NA, October 19, 2011 in AU and October 21, 2011 in EU.
