Music Box Films released the first trailer for Any Day Now, a 2012 American film based on a true story, touches on legal and social issues during the 1970’s.

Directed by Travis Fine, written by Travis Fine and George Arthur Bloom. Starring Alan Cumming, Garret Dillahunt, Isaac Leyva and Frances Fisher.

“In the late 1970s, when a mentally handicapped teenager is abandoned, a gay couple takes him in and becomes the family he’s never had. But once the unconventional living arrangement is discovered by authorities, the men must fight a biased legal system to adopt the child they have come to love as their own.”

Any Day Now is scheduled to release on December 14, 2012 (limited).
