After a couple of spin-offs, Rovio Entertainment has finally announced a sequel for Angry Birds.
“On Piggy Island, every day is beach party day. But sooner or later, all parties get crashed…”
The first video game was released for Apple’s iOS, Android, Symbian, Windows Phone and BlackBerry and then expanded to consoles and PCs.
The game has so far “3 billion downloads, becoming a phenomenon across the globe, multiple mashups and spin-offs, collaborations with A-list celebrities and much more.”
Angry Birds 2 will launch on multiple mobile platforms worldwide on July 30. We will have more details on July 28 during Rovio’s San Francisco press event.
