Wedbush Securities analyst, Michael Pachter slammed Sony’s upcoming Gaikai-based video game streaming service, PlayStation Now during a recent interview with GameInformer.

In GameInformer’s March Issue), Michael Pachter said, “Playstation Now as a Joke.

There is no publisher that is going to license content that’s less than two-years old because they would be concerned that they can’t sell as many copies if they make it available for subscription or rental.

This has no prayer of working. None.”

PlayStation Now service is used to provide PlayStation gaming content to mobile devices, televisions, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation 4.

The closed beta is currently underway in US with the full service due to launch this summer. The service is expected to roll-out next year in UK.
