Activision is aware and working to fix the issue reported on the PS3 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
PS3 user have reported connectivity and freezing problems on Black Ops 2 forum. However, the freezing issue isn’t just limited to the PS3 version, some Xbox 360 and PC users are also experiencing similar issues with Black Ops 2, although its more common on PS3.
Activision tweeted earlier
We are aware of connectivity issues that some players are facing in Black Ops II on PlayStation 3. We are working on resolution, thank you.

They also retweeted suggesting PC players experiencing crash or performance issues with the game should make sure the drivers are updated.

Black Ops 2 players who are unable to redeem their PS3 codes for Nuketown 2025, Activision provided a customer support link to fill out an online form to receive a replacement code which gives you immediately access to download the Nuketown 2025 map and you won’t miss out on this weekend’s Double XP event.
