Assassin Creed III′ Creative Director Alex Hutchinson said that Ubisoft developed the PC version of their highly anticipated title with a controller in mind.
In an interview with GameSpy, Hutchinson, said “We’re definitely supporting PC, We love PC, but I think it’ll be PC with a controller. I don’t see us investing hugely in a mouse and keyboard setup. I think if you want to play on PC and you want to play Assassin’s Creed, you have a controller.”
Ubisoft later clarified to RPS that the game will support keyboard and mouse, just as previous games in the franchise have.
Earlier this week, Hutchinson said that female assassins won’t be getting their moment in ACIII. The history of the American Revolution is the history of men.
Previously, Ubisoft announced collector’s edition and a Connor Trailer for Assassin’s Creed III.

That is exactly what I hoped for. Playing the previous games on a controller was a pain in the ass, mostly because of the inability to hold so many buttons at once, and the low stick sensitivity, even if you set it on the highest possible speed.
Yes Ubi, please continue to ostracize the PC gamer and make your product less appealing to them. Can't believe I stuck up for this pos for so long.
NO GOD DANG IT! Mouse and keyboard is so much better than controler, more keys for things, easier changing to ones needs and habits (binding keys where you feel most comfortable at), mouse with a much more precise and easier view change…. I mean seriously, why make a sharp cornered world just so it fits the controler with four directions instead of a fluid 360 degrees world….. I hate them at this point -.-
*them, as in Ubisoft or whoever is the genius behind this….
