Ubisoft’s France-based studio Ubisoft Annecy is working on Assassin’s Creed III’s multiplayer component.
The same studio that provided the online components for both Brotherhood and Revelations. This time there is a new lead designer in place for Assassin’s Creed III.
Tim Browne’s Twitter description reads: “Lead Game Designer on Assassin’s Creed III Multiplayer @Ubisoft – Annecy.”
Browne hasn’t been involved with the franchise prior to this. His past work includes the recent Operation Flashpoint games, Dragon Rising and Red River.
With Ubisoft focused on single-player reveals so far, nothing is yet known about ACIII‘s multiplayer, nor the 2-4 player online co-op mode that slipped out via an Xbox Live listing previous month.
Previously, Ubisoft said “Desmond will play a big part in ACIII”
Assassin’s Creed III will release on October 30 for PC, PS3, Xbox360 and Wii U.
