Ubisoft’s France-based studio Ubisoft Annecy is working on Assassin’s Creed III’s multiplayer component, the same studio behind Revelations and Brotherhood’s multiplayer.
As spotted by GamerZines, the Twitter Profile of Tim Browne – who recently joined the Ubisoft Annecy’s team as the lead game designer for Assassin’s Creed III multiplayer.
Fans will be pleased to know that the multiplayer is again in the same hands that worked the mode for the previous two Assassin’s Creed titles. In addition, Ubisoft Annecy have worked on the multiplayer for Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and other popular Ubisoft property.
Assassin’s Creed III is currently in development at Ubisoft Montreal, and it brings in all-new Assassin named Connor during the American Revolution.
Earlier this month, Xbox.com’s listing reveled that Assassin’s Creed III will feature four player co-op.
Previously, Ubisoft’s creative director Alex Hutchinson said Assassin’s Creed III is an opportunity to go “back to basics.” and said it’s ‘A Great Time For Newcomers To Join The Adventure’
