Ubisoft has a dedicated team working on Assassin’s Creed III’s post-launch DLC, A letter from Ubisoft to Gamestop outlines the publisher’s DLC plans for Assassin’s Creed III.

The letter (image below) forwarded to Kotaku states Ubisoft is busy “creating a complementary development team that will begin work on post-launch episodic content”.

The letter continues: “We know you’re familiar with the ‘Season Pass’ concept and, beginning shortly, we’ll start to take pre-orders of our very own.”

If this turns out to be legit, then fans will be able to pre-purchase the Season Pass content with their pre-orders.

Assassin’s Creed franchise is no stranger to paid DLC over the years, Brotherhood and Revelations received one major post-launch DLC pack – The Da Vinci Disappearance and the Lost Archives respectively, but it has been largely contained to multiplayer expansions and launch day bonus content.

Previously, Alex Hutchinson said, that it was time the story of modern-day protagonist Desmond Miles ultimately ends.

Assassin’s Creed III will release on October 30 for PC, PS3, Xbox360 and Wii U.
