Read the synopsis below:

“It’s 1783. As the revolution comes to a close, a new and most unexpected enemy emerges. Driven by the desire to secure the fate of the colonies, the greatest hero of the revolution, George Washington, succumbs to the temptation of infinite power. The new King is born and his reign leaves no one untouched. To return freedom to the land our new hero must dethrone a tyrant he once called friend.”

Ubisoft executive producer Sebastien Puel said: “History is our playground, and Assassin’s Creed teams have always loved playing with historical facts and their consequences as a way to better understand a time period, while Assassin’s Creed III concentrates on history as it happens, we wanted to take some liberties with this DLC and tell you how things ‘could have happened.'”

Assassin’s Creed III DLC is scheduled for release within six months of the game’s release, and the Season Pass is now available on PS store, October 31 on Xbox 360 and on November 22 for PC, it is priced at 2400 Microsoft Points (£20.56) on Xbox 360 and £23.99 on PS3. PC specific pricing wasn’t confirmed. All of the DLC will be released on Wii U too.

Assassin’s Creed III will release on October 30 for PS3, Xbox360 and on November 20 for PC.
