NPD, a U.S. market research firm report states that only 29% of “core” gamers are likely to buy a next-gen console at launch.
The survey was completed by 887 qualified U.S. respondents aged 9 and older who currently play games for five or more hours per week on an Xbox 360, PS3, PC, or Mac, according to Game Zone’s report.
NPD surveyed 6,322 , but only 887 of respondents were categorized as a “core” gamer.
Sony unveiled its next-gen console PlayStation 4 at a New York press conference last week. It is set for “holiday 2013” release.

Nope sick of this no used games, no backwards compatibility bullshit.
Yeah, I'm not upgrading for a while. I can't play any of my old games that I actually own the discs to on a next gen console, and then they want to charge me for downloading a game I already paid them for later and they won't have the games I like most, no thanks. Sony can jam the PS4 where the sun doesn't shine
